The TalkAfricaNG team in Kogi State held an interview session as part of the official launch of our new project, Africans on the Table, a platform dedicated to meaningful conversations shaping Africa’s future. The session featured Dr. Fagbemi, Head of Department of Anatomy, Federal University Lokoja, in a thought-provoking discussion on the topic: “Education Without Skill — Are Students Really Prepared for the Real World?” Hosted by Aliu Azeema, the conversation explored the relationship between education and practical skills, the readiness of students for life beyond the classroom, and the role of institutions in bridging the gap between theory and real-world application. Africans on the Table bring African voices to the center of conversations that matter, one table, one topic, one honest discussion at a time.
